Why do people treat relationship so lightly?

I really cant stand this anymore....i have to blog it...y do people take relationship so lightly? y do so many couples treat it as a game? From the time i entered NS till now i've heard so many people around me saying:"if she does it to me, i'll just do it back."..."if she finds another guy i'll find another girl"..."If she can do this why cant i do it"...."i'll make sure i do someething to hurt her before i dump her"...and many many more nasty things i've heard along the way which i feel are too explicit to share...y must love turn out to be a game of doing something to hurt the other person...then in the first place why say u love each other??? Cos of that implusive feeling? Cos that person looks good to be with? Cos u just want to have a partner? Or whatever it may be. Y do people turn something so beautiful to something so NASTY... UGLY ... FULL OF PAIN? If your partner did something to hurt you in a relationship be it what...why must you go do it back so your partner gets a taste of it... do to others what you want others do to you...and likewise if u dun like others to hurt you then why do it to hurt others....why think you can fool around and get away with it....it will come around one fine day...and you'll have to bear all that pain yourself... is it worth it?

Matthew 5:38-42
"You have heard that it was said,"Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth." But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.

Why cant think carefully before you even say you love someone...for that moment it may bring chills down the person's spine and make the person feel really loved....but in the long run it may just turn out to be a phrase that's gonna bring someone ALOT ALOT of pain instead...WHY jump into a relationship just like that....get to know that person more and PRAY about it...its the FIRST thing to do....and WHY change partner like changing clothes....its something i really despised since young...BE committed to your partner...dun hurt her/him...WHY say its cos your partner is like that like this so you decided to break up....i find that's the worst excuse you can give and it just tells how IM-MATURE YOU ARE...LEARN to love the person for who he/she is...cos love is about accepting the person for who that person is....it goes beyond loving the person for the good things he/she has....but rather loving the person in all aspects of his/her character including the flaws the person has...anyone and everyone can love a person that has no flaws and is totally lovable but NOT many can love someone who is not perfect...from the number of girlfriends/boyfriends one changes speaks for itself what kind of person the guy/girl is, how he/she treats the other gender and how he/she treats love...

1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love is patient, Love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no records of wrong. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hope, always perseveres.

There's only one person to learn from...the author and perfecter of our faith. Jesus himself is a great example of what love IS!!
